1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a bike box rental through Build More Wonder LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Rental Agreement

Each rental is governed by the Rental Agreement presented at checkout. You sign it electronically by typing your full legal name after reading it; consistent with the Colorado Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, that electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one. By signing, you confirm you have read and accept the rental terms, including return conditions, late fees, and damage responsibilities. A copy of your signed agreement is emailed to you with your booking confirmation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a bike box. By completing a booking, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Payments

Your rental fee is charged in full when you book. We do not charge or place a hold for a security deposit. To complete your booking, your payment card is securely saved with our payment processor (Stripe).

By signing the Rental Agreement, you authorize us to charge your saved card after the rental for damage, missing parts, cleaning, late returns, or non-return of the bike box. All such charges combined are limited to, and will never exceed, the bike box's stated replacement cost. This authorization is not insurance and does not cover damage to your bicycle.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund of the rental fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are eligible for a 50% refund of the rental fee. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

6. Damage and Loss

You are responsible for the bike box from the time of pickup until it is returned to us. You are liable for all damage, loss, or theft of the bike box while in your possession. If the bike box comes back damaged beyond normal wear, is lost, or is not returned, your saved card may be charged up to the box's replacement cost. If the box is not returned within 5 days of the scheduled return date, the full replacement cost may be charged automatically.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, Build More Wonder LLC's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to your rental shall not exceed the total rental fees you paid for that booking. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damage to your bicycle or personal items, travel disruptions, or lost revenue.

Mile High Bike Box provides bike boxes for transport protection only. We make no guarantee that damage to contents will not occur during airline handling, and we are not responsible for damage caused by airlines or other third parties.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Build More Wonder LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the rental equipment, your violation of these Terms, or your negligence.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at support@milehighbikebox.com to attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies.

Any legal action must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
